House on the Canal
Together with the residents (expats with two young children), an important starting point for Robbert Lagerweij Interior Design in developing a new interior design was that, in addition to functionality and preserving the authenticity of the old canal house, the interior should above all have an atmospheric, warm, and contemporary appearance.
The family home on the canal in Leiden underwent a renovation of approximately 2.5 months. In addition to the renovation and plastering works, the team of interior and construction professionals at RL-ID also carried out all painting of the woodwork and walls, and installed atmospheric lighting and curtains. This resulted in a contemporary, functional, and stylish interior.
