Top Floor Apartment, The Hague
Our client Chris, CFO at one of the Netherlands’ largest telecommunications companies, purchased two apartments above each other in the Willemspark area of The Hague and asked Robbert Lagerweij Interior Design to turn them into a home. Due to his busy job, the client wished to entrust the interior design and the modifications of these recently fully renovated apartments to us.
Robbert Lagerweij gladly accepted this challenge and, together with his client, searched for a sustainable and original interior combination that would do justice to the large, elegant spaces as well as the client’s contemporary and modern living wishes and taste. Robbert succeeded in capturing this in a unique interior design. The interior design could be seamlessly integrated through several renovations and adjustments to and within the apartment.
Robbert and his (construction) team worked with great passion on, among other things, the interior painting and wallpapering, the construction of a custom-made window seat with storage underneath in the living room, and custom sliding doors with original wallpaper to conceal the second kitchen in the apartment from view in the TV room, the installation of atmospheric and functional lighting, custom-made curtains, and the bringing together and sourcing of new and vintage furniture and decorative objects for the finishing touches.
The result is an unparalleled and exciting mix of contemporary, stylish modern design with a subtle classical touch.
