Professorenwijk Leiden
Together with the residents (a young couple with three small children), an important starting point for Robbert Lagerweij Interior Design in developing a new interior design was that, in addition to functionality, the interior should above all have an atmospheric, warm, and modern contemporary appearance.
The family home in the prestigious Professorenwijk in Leiden has undergone a complete transformation.
In addition to plastering and painting, the team of interior professionals at RL-ID installed furniture and accessories, original wallpaper, and various lighting elements — some designed and custom-made by RL-ID.
This has resulted in a unique, contemporary, functional, and welcoming interior.
In the realization of this interior project, Robbert Lagerweij Interior Design made use of, among others:
Farrow&Ball paint, colour Elephant’s Breath for the walls; coarsely woven silk curtain fabric for lampshades by James Hare; cushions by RL-ID; a rug by ICE; various lighting elements such as the oak soffit light with spotlights in the kitchen, designed by RL-ID; wallpaper by the British brand Cole&Son.
